PepsiCo supports the responsible development of Plant-Made Pharmaceuticals (PMP) and Plant
Made Industrial Compounds (PMIC) that can lead to benefits in the medical and industrial sectors.
However, PepsiCo opposes the development of PMPs and/or PMICs in
food and/or feed crops as this poses risks to the food supply.
